Turquoise water, coconuts, and palm trees were trending. Paradise destinations were filling up fast, as people flocked there to curate their Instagram feeds with smoothie bowls and bikini shots. But this crew? They were after something else entirely.
The idea sparked during a Cape Town summer. While everyone else was booking tickets to Bali, Tarifa, or Cabarete, tempted by the thought of boardshorts and Bintang tank tops, they craved something different—something raw, something real, something unforgettable.
